A HAPPY REUNION

I turn 40 in late October. My brothers decided to throw me a party. I decided to invite some bands to play. Chris, Paul, and I decided it would be fun to put the old band back together for the show. I am pleased to announce that all members of Happy Boy have been located, and have agreed to participate. The only questions that remain are the same ones we've always had. Will Paul qiut the band again? Will he do his track on Saturday? Do we rehearse on Rob's night? How does Chris' solo record fit in? Does anyone know the songs? Will the set list be arranged around Rob's guitar switch? Will I quit the band to move to California? Will we break up at 6 pm, or at 5:45? Who will buy the beer? Stay tuned for the answers to these questions, and much more.

It's your party, but I'd caution you, the man of the hour, against spending too much time playing yourself. You should spend the time sitting back and letting others play for you and having people feed you grapes and lomchicks of toast...

I hate everyone, I quit, who's been playing my guitar? Why are the batteries in my pedals dead? Can you turn the hell down? Who's out of tune? I'm in tune, this box says so. I don't like that set list. I don't make mistakes. I hate everyone. I quit the band. Can I have more reverb?

Oh wait, we haven't even gotten back together yet.

I have considered that very quandry Tony, and I gotta say, after thinking it through, I Wanna Rock! This 'Tedstock' is a celebration of me, and I am one with Rock. I am he as you are me and we are all going to motherfucking rock the joint!

Looks like Geek Farm will be playing a set too. I'm looking forward to it. Probably the only time Joeman's lazy ass will ever see us.

We might be called something else by then. Eric wants to change the name and I am all too happy to go along with that. I like Ears of Annoyance, after something he said about one of their cats.

Tedstock... Well stated. Sounds cool to me. I can work front stage security if you'd like.

Chris,

Couldn't be a more accurate list of band memberisms. Although anonymous below may have hit one you left out, "I don't like the name of our band, let's change it to..."

Can I have more reverb? LOL!!!

Oh, that was me. Maybe I should get a blogger account just so my name shows up.

I do also have random thoughts I'd love to put down, but I don't think anyone would give a shit.

-Ken

oh shit, I have to get going on that solo record! If I don't start soon there won't be enough time to break up the band before Tedstock.

There's always time to break up the band, just like there's always room for Jell-O.
