HALL OF SHAME

It's that time of year again. The class of 2007 has been nominated, and, of course, the same omissions are apparent.

Where is Alice?

Alice Cooper

Where is Kiss?

Last year Sabbath and Skynyrd finally got their long over due inductions, so maybe they are saving Alice and Kiss for the years ahead when they will start having problems finding worthy inductees.

In 2012 when Guns and Roses and Jane's Addiction become eligible, what then? Who's worthy? What band to come along since 1987 is worth nominating?

Comments:
True dat! I will give some thought to your query, but I'm not optimistic of coming up with anyone near as worthy as those you've already identified that's for sure.

Add UFO to the stack of names...

"Dont push me, cause Im close to the edge
Im trying not to loose my head
Its like a jungle sometimes, it makes me wonder
How I keep from going under"
Look at Nile's guitar in the video link for the nominees... Cool Dan Armstrong type strat..
OOOhhh.....SEEE THRuuuu
Both great songs on this link..

MAYBE Green Day, MAYBE, or MAYBE Weezer,or Beck, but really, it seems Lefsetz is right - for all his assholiness, it does seem that this thing has run it's course.

We'll always have Nazareth, but there won't be any new Nazareths.

We'll never see the likes of UFO or Thin Lizzy in the Hall, and I don't have much hope for the NWOBHM guys - hell Priest has been eligible for years. You just know Metallica will slide right in, but Motorhead won't, which ain't right at all.

Well, over the weekend I realized there was a glaring omission - Nirvana, and I suppose with them, we'll see Pearl Jam as well.
