JACKSON GIVES YOU THE BIRD
So the Legal Diva and I had a production meeting last night about our holiday meal.
The menu:
1st course (appetizer): A cold plate featuring two cheeses (brie and peranno), olives, sweet gherkins, crackers, and hummous.
2nd course (soup): A roasted acorn squash soup
3rd course (main): A brined turkey roasted with cornbread and sausage stuffing. Green beans with sauteed onions, garlic, and pimentos. Roasted garlic mashed potatoes and turnips. Sauteed pancetta and yellow squash.
4th course (dessert): Sweet Potato Pie with roasted pecans.
I'm very excited.

Comments:
Acorn squash soup and sweet potatos are not my cup of tea, but the rest sounds fab! Have a happy and be sure to watch as much football as possible whilst munching.
