GLUTEN-FREE, NON DAIRY DINNER PARTY
The Legal Diva and I are hosting a dinner party for some friends, one of whom has some dietary restrictions. No wheat, and no dairy. No problem!
We're starting off with a string bean salad featuring green and white string beans, sesame seeds, cucumber, and white cannelini beans.
The main dish will be a seafood stir fry with shrimp, scallops, golden beets, cauliflower, snap peas, baby corn, and sprouts.
We'll finish with a fruit course of figs, dates, and kumquats.
This will prove our ability to cook without bacon, butter, or cheese. I'm quite excited about it.

Comments:
I see no reason why bacon should not be incorporated into that meal somehow. There's no wheat or dairy in bacon.

But this is like teaching a dog to ride a bicycle. Why would you do it?!?!
