THE WAFFLE PRESIDENT

In honor of Presidents Day, I suggest that Obama take some good advice and use waffles to stimulate Congress. I think having waffles would make each member of Congress happier, and in turn more receptive to the ideas of other members of Congress.

That's what I'd do. I'd be the Waffle President.

Comments:
You are right on track with this. Rutherford B. Hayes utilized the Flap Jack in a similar way with outstanding bipartisan results.

They are right. Hayes was known as the Buckwheat Bipartisan from the Buckeye State.

Andrew Jackson used corn fritters. Jefferson, typically, used crepes.

rob kalin, who is the founder of Etsy used to make waffles at all the company meetings. they are still called waffle meetings.
